Tool use near edge makes image jump
When I use a brush, eraser, or lasso near the edge in CS3 the image jumps to give more space to work with (in magnified mode). This is annoying as it moves the tool way beyond the area being worked on, and I have to reposition manually. I would rather reposition my workspace with the spacebar and hand manually in the first place, and put it where I want it. Does anyone know of a way to disable this function? |

I agree that this can be frustrating. I don't think that you can disable it, but you can put your screen in the full screen mode. Then you can move your work so the edge is closer to the middle of the screen. You will see a black or gray background while it is in this mode, and photoshop will cover the entire screen. |
