Indesign
Hi all This is not PS-related. I just wondered if anyone could recommend a book similar in format to HTCIP, but for InDesign? Something for a beginner, as I was with PS before using Steve's book. Thanks for any suggestions. Cheers Chris |

Don't know of any myself, Chris, although my friend Keith Martin did write a good book on the whole CS3 suite: http://www.focalpress.com/Book.aspx?id=970 Don't know if this is any help! |

Re: Indesign
Deke McLelland's has InDesign books in his one-on-one series. I'm not sure what it's like but he's well-known in the industry. There is a very good Podcast series on InDesign, too. It's called The Indesigner and can be found on iTunes or via their site http://www.theindesigner.com/blog I assume there's never been one in the How to Cheat series because it would sound daft saying it... _________________ If you hold on to the past, sooner or later you'll lose your grip. |

Re: Indesign
There are some very good tutorials on InDesign on http://www.lynda.com They go through pretty much every feature in the product, and will show you some very good examples. Did you have a specific question? I might be able to help. Dave. |

Re: Indesign
Thanks chaps No specific questions, Dave. Just want a good tutorial book. Will check out the online tutorials but I find it much easier working with a book. Hmm... could this be a gap in the market, Steve? Thanks for all your help. Cheers Chris |
