custom warping text
When I warp text I can't choose custom from the menu? Why? And how would I custom warp text? |

Re: custom warping text
Hi fergie, You have to rasterise the text to apply a custom warp. Layer>Rasterise>Type. Hope this helps. Gordon _________________ Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations? |

Re: custom warping text
Thank you, Gordon. I did it! I found out it's a good idea to rasterise at a higher percent than I'm going to need for the finished text. Less edge smoothing needed that way. |

Re: custom warping text
A better method might be to turn the text into a Smart Object instead of rasterising it. That way, you can still use custom warps, but the text remains resolution independent - and editable. |

Re: custom warping text
I thought that there must be a way to do this and keep the text editable. Smart Objects didn't occur to me. It does seem odd, though, that there is no facility to do this through the Warp menu when you can apply all those presets. _________________ The pantomime for paranoid-schizophrenics was going very well until someone shouted "He's behind you" |
