Chapter 12 3D Transform filter
Steve, I have CS3 extended and I looked on the PS disk for the plugin for the 3D Transform filter and it isn't anywhere to be found. Am I doing something wrong or looking in the wrong place? I looked in the "goodies" file and found an optional plugins file and in that was a filter file but the only plugin in that file is the texture fill plugin. No 3D Transform plugin that I can find. Can you help?

I found it! Its not in the CS3 Upgrade! (They should tell one these things! ) I found it in the earlier version of CS2! . For anyone looking for this plugin for 3D transform filter and you have a CS3 upgrade look in your previous CD of CS. You will find it there.

Sorry, Neil - didn't notice your post there.

You'll find, however, that while the 3D Transform filter may just work in CS3, it certainly won't work in CS4 - Adobe has officially dropped it. That's why I've now dropped that tutorial from the book.

A great shame, as it was a very useful filter.

Ohh wow Steve. I didn't realize they did away with it. Its a nice plugin. A little on the tiny side (for a 12 inch laptop) but works pretty good. Thanks for the information on the CS4 version. I haven't upgraded to that yet!
