short cut keys not working
I have literally just picked up how to cheat in photshop cs4 and am on page 5 -the fundamentals. Steps 1-6 worked just as expected however in 7 I hold down the cntrl key and drag empty marquee comes out then I try 8 hold down cntrl and alt brings out a copy-not but the funny thing is history said it did it 9 worked as planed 10 did not now I am working in cs3 (I know plan to update after chirstmas) but I don't think this is a version issue as this is basic stuff. So anyone have any idea why these things are not responding as planned? Thanks for any help you might have.

Well, this has made entertaining reading!

Glad you managed to get sorted out. And you never need to apologise for "stupid mistakes" - we all make them, and I'd always prefer you to post a problem here than to sit there tearing your hair out.
