| cathiecarnahan@gmail.com * Posts: 19 Reply | fade setting I am working diligently through chapter 1 and am learning tons but I have hit another road block I am working on brush-on-color using the color replacement brush and step 7 (page 34 in CS4 edition) When I attempt to bring up the fade setting in edit or by ctrl shift F my pen tablet input comes up with it and the area that reads normal is grayed out. I think the tablet has for lack of better word partially kidnapped this setting. Does that sound plausable? My tables is a wacom but is about 5 years old. Any help would be appreciated |

Gives me no problems, just none related graphic card driver. You should also make sure Grahics Display driver is latest for CS4, see my earlier few comments on another thread. I upgraded display driver, but still need to restart PC sometimes to get my brushes back. (MS issue) In the meantime, maybe a point? for Steve's lessons, you are learning, so can use the mouse i.e. not looking for perfection just to understand the technique, then get your pen out later. Just a thought. But I understand, we prefer an acceptable image for all the efforts of your work and can maybe share with others, non-PS and non-HTCPSs. Trevor |
