Lost colors
What have I done? I am currently trying to use the colour pallet but appear to be locked in a grey scale, and everything comes up a shade of grey, a little help would be appreciated

Maybe is in grayscale color mode.
Go to image>mode, and check RGB color mode.

Not sure, or if this helps. In colour Swatches Pallet, with the drop down menu (top right) you can select Reset Default .... to go back to original PS default (or of course any other Swatch options you might have loaded preset).
