Guides
A silly one this. I have set up guides to make a whole load of shapes, but I need to temporarily hide the guides, just to check things, then I want to access the guides again in the same place. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this. I know I could draw the lines on a layer, and then turn that on and off, but is there a way to do this just with guides? Am using CS3. |

Re: Guides
Command semicolon (Ctrl semicolon on a PC) shows and hides guides. Or you could just use Command H (Ctrl H) which hides guides, selections, and grids. Easy! |

Re: Guides
Thanks Steve. I knew the shortcut expert would know the answer to this! Even though I couldn't find it in Photoshop help. |

Re: Guides
I love my shortcuts. I write Actions where there aren't shortcuts. And I use QuicKeys to create more shortcuts where Actions can't do it. Comes from playing the piano, I suppose... my fingers know where to go before my brain does! |
