Intuos 3 tablet and Windows 7
Hi, Sorry to use this space for a subject that is not directly related to the latest book. My graphics pen is not working! I have installed the latest drivers and, immediately I had done this, the pen was working. Today I open photoshop to work on something and the pen is not registering. I do have a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse. Might this be interfering? Any help much appreciated. |

Re: Intuos 3 tablet and Windows 7
Hi Sophie! I have been on Windows 7 since the day after it came out. I'm still not using anything wireless....if they have fixed that I don't know. I am not using a wireless leyboard but I am using a wireless mouse and ny tablet is working fine. This is a dumb question....have you rebooted??? Personally, I want to scream every time I heard that one. Did you check the control panel to make sure the Tablet is showing up? I have an issue with that when I first switched over. I had the usb connector going to one of those hubs and for some reason the tablet would not appear in the control panel. When I plugged the the connector directly into my PC the tablet started to work. I know I had a lot of things interfering, it was really annoying and basically we hit or missed trying things and honestly I was able to use my thing on XP that this 7 thing.......some days I think it was a mistake to switch. Hi Deb, Yes, I did check the control panel. The light on the tablet was responding as it should i.e. turning from blue to green when the pen made contact. Finally I did reboot and I eventually got it to work! Thanks for your help. |
