Paste into
Hi all
Paste Into is greyed out. Is there something I should have active that isn't?
Just want to paste one shot into the selected areas of another.

Thanks for any help
Chris

Re: Paste into
The shot I want to paste is active, and in is going into another psd. There is a similar project on p26 of The Book

Re: Paste into
Chris
Paste Into has always worked for me

If I wanted to place a new sky into an image, I would open uo the sky image and select the portion of the sky needed, select Ctrl C and then close the file. If I wanted the whole sky, I would 'select all' - Ctrl A first.

Open the recipient image and make sure the selected area. i.e. the place where you want the sky to be, is active. Select Paste Into and the sky will fill the selection with a mask applied automatically.

Re: Paste into
Chris,

I agree with Nick. Tested it. Paste Into is grayed out if in the target you do not have a selection active.
