Viewing problem
All of a sudden my computer is refusing to show me some images (I suspect images that are linked to other sites such as youtube) and instead I get a tiny green blue red rectangle

Why is this happening and how can I stop it?

Josephine
It may be something to do with the cache file being full. I had a similar issue with my old machine and deleting the temporary internet files worked. Worth a try.

Re: Viewing problem
I don't know if Nick will respond soon, or if solution, but if you go to Internet Explorer >Tools >Internet Options > (it goes a bit version dependent), but try pressing Browsing History button, from there select Temporary Internet Files (<< this ist the cashe of all the internet files you've browsed recently) and delete, you can delete History safely too.

I am not sure this will help. Its supposed to wrap-around. If it does try resetting the space you reserve for the temporary internet smaller, but really it means your C disk is getting full.

Re: Viewing problem
Or it could be that you're trying to view Flash movies that need an updated version of Flash. Try going to Adobe's website and updating your copy:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Might just help.

Re: Viewing problem
Yay!
It was the Flash player - but I cleared my cache anyway as a good housekeeping measure.

Many thanks to all - where would I be without you guys?
