curser problem
I have got a problem that has only occurred recently. When I point my curser at some thing in a document or a tool, I often (not always) get a little circle of red circles. anybody got an idea of what setting has been changed in windows or Photoshop. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |

Re: curser problem
This is bizarre. Are you holding down a modifier key? Does it happen with all tools? Is it only in Photoshop? |

Pretty sure I'm not using any modifyer key when it happens. Once it starts it's pretty hard to stop it, until I move on to the next thing. I have a feeling it has also happend in Word. It looks like this. ![]() _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |

Really weird. Horrible. I do not really know. But: 1) You might try reloading and installing the latest driver for graphics card (should be able to download free). -Might also be a virus if you have PC, but I thought that stuff got blocked. or 2) You might also try resetting your mouse pointer Check Help. (note: If you change it MS might revert again after you restart ~~!oo<> yuck) " To change the appearance of your mouse pointer Open Mouse in Control Panel. On the Pointers tab, do one or both of the following: To change all of your pointers at one time, select a new scheme under Scheme. To change one pointer, select it in the Customize list. Click Browse, and then double-click the name of the new pointer you want to use for that task. Notes To open Mouse, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Mouse. A pointer scheme is any combination of pointers used on your desktop. You can change any number of pointers and then save them as a new scheme by clicking Save As under Scheme. The new scheme will appear in the list under Scheme. " |

I seem to remember a progress image like that going round and round as it processed files being opened. Google I think. Maybe check you do not have Google Desktop active on your PC. It is/was very easy to activate it even though you were not really aware. |

One can get multiple cursors if your monitor is not set on the native resolution. Also, 3 cursors can be seen if your Windows text DPI size is set to 150% using Win 7. Solution: Change the Windows text size to 149% or 151%. |

Re: curser problem
I have givne up on it, it's intermitten, I think it's only the wacom pen, but then I use it more than the mouse. However 2 more weeks and that will no longer be a problem. I have ordered my IMac. REally excited, and very interested to see how I will fare. _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |
