How Do I Load the CheatMetal.asl file?
Hi, I am going thru the metal with layer styles exercise and it is telling to open the CheatMetal.asl file. It is not opening. I am using a mac. Any suggestions?? Thank you, Jeff Faldalen |

Jeff, All .asl files are Styles, and so need to be loaded through the Layer Style panel. There's a Read Me file in the Layer Styles folder on the CD that explains how to do this: +++ Custom layer styles To use these styles, open the Layer Styles palette in Photoshop. From the pop-up menu in the top right, choose Load Styles, and select the file A&D styles.asl in this folder. The styles will appear in your Layer Styles palette, after all your existing styles. See page 242 for a visual example of each of the styles. +++ Hope this helps. If you have any difficulty, let me know. |
