Brush shape aligned with path
Hi everyone, I'm trying to get a rectangular brush shape to follow a path but I want the shape actually aligned with the path all the way round when I stroke the path. I can do it with the text tool and a series of dashes on a path but it's a very inelegant way of doing it. I'm sure it can be done easily in Illustrator but would prefer to do it in Photoshop if I can. Any thoughts? Gordon _________________ Why is there only one body to investigate Monopolies ? |

Is this what you mean Gordon? Create a path, set the brush settings to what you want, then in the path pallet, ( I'm probably spelling "pallet" wrong, but...) at the bottom, hit stroke path with the brush tool selected.

If that's what you mean, set the angle jitter in the brush pallet to Direction and set the spacing accordingly. If you need more details, let me know. I'm not sure how much info you are looking for.

That was it! Thanks Steve. I knew it was in there somewhere. I had forgotten about the 'Control' dialogue box. _________________ Why is there only one body to investigate Monopolies ? |
