Feathering Selections.
Okay, now I'm sure I'll facepalm when someone fixes this, but first off, I'm in CS5. Now the problem I have is probably pretty simple. When I make a selection with, say, the elliptical marquee tool, that works just fine. The problem is when I try to fill this selection, I find myself with a circle that's extremely faded on the edges, like there's some super-feather-factor in there. And even when I try to use the Paint Bucket, it seems like there are tons of little rings I have to paint, not just one circle.
Thanks in advance, -Scott

Re: Feathering Selections.
Hi Scotty,

When you select a selection tool have a look at the bar below the menu items and you will see a box marked 'Feather'. To get a crisp edge to your selection make sure that the value is set to zero. Anything above zero will give you a faded edge. The higher the value the greater the feathering.

Should you set a non-feathered selection and you actually want it feathered then go to Select>Feather and type in a value.
