Free Transform Tool
On pages 40 and 41 item 9. I have not been able to duplicate the image above item 9. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Free Transform Tool
Ron,

This operation uses two shortcuts: holding ctrl shift T to repeat the last transformation, and adding the alt key to make a copy.

To do this, start with the layer you want to work with. Assuming you want to keep the original object in place, begin by duplicating the layer - Ctrl J is a useful shortcut to do this.

Now use Ctrl T to enter Free Transform and start the distortion. To distort this man, I reduced the size slightly, rotated him about 10 degrees clockwise, and moved him slightly to the side. It's important to do all this in one Free Transform operation, including the step of moving him to the side.

Hit Enter to apply the transformation. Now, when you press alt shift ctrl T, it should repeat that transformation exactly, producing a smaller, shifted, rotated copy. Keep pressing the key combination to add another figure to the stack.
