Save for web
I want to submit a Friday challenge, but "saving for web" is not re-sizing the image..........I've tried several times and keep getting the message that my image is too large. It's so different than PS7 and I don't know what settings I should use. Any help will save my sanity! Joey |

Hello Joey, I don't know if your Save for Web looks anything like my screen shot. If it does: just go to 4-up. The 2nd 'setting' seems to work best. Hope this helps.  |

Save for web will only handle a maximum file size. First, go to image size and change the ppi to 72 and make the longest pixel length 800. Click OK. Then go to Save For Web and change the quality so the file size is approx 97kb. You should find this works. Nick |

When I get the message "too large", I just ignore it and carry on. Most of the time it then it just works it out and can adjust the size etc after the complaint... |
