hope to judge perspective with one eye
Hi Steve Ive looked at some tuts on creating a perspective grid somesay use ctr+tand distort others say ctr+t and perspetive. trouble is i dont know what im looking at asimregistered blind with limted sight and only have one eye. i was wounderingif there was a techneque you could recomend. in the friday challenge i moved the angle shadow to be in line with the mushrooms. but theangel look out of place.. :my 2nd pic couldnt see how to correct it ![]() ![]() |

You could always try the Vanishing Point filter: once you've marked out the corners of a rectangle within your image, you can use it to generate grids at 90 degree angles to each other. And if you like, you can then render those grids back into Photoshop as a new layer. Perspective is difficult, though - even Forum regulars have trouble getting it right, which is why I post so many Friday Challenges that test members' ability to master it. The only way is with practice! Of course, being able to see the screen does help. It sounds to me as if you're up against pretty difficult odds... but by all means post some specific examples, and we'll try to help you out. |
