Art & Design in Photoshop Chapter 03.03 problem
How can I get step 5 to look like poster edges in book. When I desaturate the copy photograph, then try to apply filters>Artistic>Poster Edges, I have such bad/heavy mottling of the skin from the photograph that this looks awful. In the book it says remove all the colour which I have done, but I still have the photograph in all shades of grey. Have I missed a step? I have tried to adjust the photograph by blurring the detail of the skin, before the filter, but I cannot get the lovely crisp black and white image that Steve makes. |

Sues, Sorry - this is a misprint in the book. You should be using Filter > Sketch > Stamp to get this effect. My apologies. Steve |
