Changing the color/Coloring problems/ Photoshop CS6
I am trying to change the color of a white dog to a dark brown using the color replacement tool/mode: color/fill: 100%/opacity: 100/sampling: continuous/ tolerance: 30%/. The problem is that the color that is coming out when i paint is a light pink/light orange, I am guessing that is because the base color is white???. What other technique that looks "natural" can I use to change the white color of the dog to a natural brown?
Thank you

Hi Emy,
I have shown 3 samples (very badly cut-out).
The first is a new Colour Fill layer set to Colour.
The second is the same layer, but this time set to Linear Light at 100% Opacity.
The third layer is also set To Linear Light again at 100% Opacity, but I picked a much darker colour.
I'm sure other people have other ways of doing this.
Hope it helps.
