Colour Lookup
I recently discovered the "COLOUR LOOKUP" feature of CS6. I had no idea what it did until I tried various things with it and realised just how great it is for colour adjustments and adding atmosphere to an ordinary image. I used to rely heavily on gradient maps but since Colour Lookup, I haven't used one. It's a wonderful addition and certainly needs to be explored further.

Ive tried to find more 'looks' to add to this library but can't find anything. Can additional files be made within Photoshop?

Is it possible to add more 'looks' like you can with brushes, gradients and shapes etc.

Last question is why do they have these odd file extensions ie .look, .CUBE, .3DL etc?

Thank you in advance
Anna

At present, very little, but it's due to be followed by an aha! in CS7 (but don't tell anyone I told you).
