Renaissance Engraving effect on a Photo
I'd like to learn how a Modern Photo of a person or people can be changed to look like an engraving by Albrect Durer or similar Renaissance Artist. I've seen a tutorial online using an Alice in Wonderland image but that isn't quite what I'm looking for. In Art & Design in Photoshop, Steve Caplin mentions using diagonal lines in a crosshatching project, says it takes time but I see no source to learn how to do this. I'd appreciate any help, thanks |

Have you tried following the instructions in the book? Where are you coming unstuck? If you want a quicker solution, you could try Flaming Pear's India Ink plug-in: http://www.flamingpear.com/indiaink.html I find it does the job really well. |

Steve, thank you for responding. I looked at the CD & on chapter 3, I found that the lines mentioned in the exercise are there. All I have to do is put them to use. |
