Canvas size
As previously stated in the Friday forum. Baffled about creating a new project in PS CC2014. Basically I was just creating a simple web banner to go into a slider. Setting up the doc to 960px x 110px. It is way too tiny on screen and printout. I then created in illustator instead. And oddly when I import to PS it's the correct size. The pic attached both printed on A4 depicting the difference in size from the PS doc and imported doc. Head scratcher for me.  |

Sounds to me like you've got the resolution wrong. For on-screen jobs, you should work at 72ppi. Either set that when you create the document, or change it afterwards using the Image Size dialog - but UNCHECK the Resample tick box before you do so. You won't see any difference after hitting OK, as it will still be the same pixel count, but it should print correctly. |
