trapped in 3D

Please anyone, help me escape, unable to get out of 3D mode.

Hi James, I don't know quite where you are stuck but if you select any tool Except the Selection tool the 3D grid work etc will disappear. If you are Rendering something and want to get out of it press ESC. You can also Rasterise the 3D layer to turn it into an ordinary layer.

Thank you Deborah. I tried your suggestions, without success. I've just done a Force Quit and appear to be back to normal. Do have a good Yuletide.
