Photoshop filters
Hey, guys. I'm new to working with Photoshop although I have tried a few things out at college. I recently bought How to cheat in Photoshop and 100% Photoshop and found that sometimes when I am to use a filter the filter is not in the drop down menu. For example, Filter - Distort - Glass. Instead I have to open the filter gallery in order to use the glass filter. I was wondering if there is a way to move these filters to the drop down menu to save entering the filter gallery. I know this may not save much time and it's not really a problem going to the filter gallery but I am curious if this is possible as Photoshop seems really custom friendly. Thanks guys ![]() |

Re: Photoshop filters
Hi Lastlife Ironically I think that filter gallery was created to make Photoshop more friendly and avoid having to search through menus and sub menus to find what you want. That being said you could take a look at Edit>Menus ...... It offers the user the ability to customise Photoshop's drop down menus. Whether it offers the ability to achieve exactly what you want I am not sure - but it's definitely worth a look. Good luck!
