Text following a Path
I am helping out a friend with some photoshop stuff and have come across a problem which I can’t seem to solve. We have spent hours on it today. I need to have the green text “falls mainly on plain” follow the same way as the blue text but along the inside of the circle. How do I get the text to follow that path in the direction that I want? Ive tried the Arc on the blue text to see if that would work but it distorts the letters too much, as you can see from the sample. Can anyone offer a solution? Id be really grateful. Re: Text following a Path
First you need to duplicate the circle. Set the blue (actually it's pink) text, then lock the layer and set the green text on the copy of the circle. It will come out in the wrong orientation. Hold Command (Mac)/Right mouse button (Windows) and click on the text, and you'll be able to drag it to the other side of the path. Then, you'll need to move it where you want it - but you'll also need to adjust the Baseline Shift to move it up so it lies inside the path. |
