improving blurred snap of text
I want to know if there are ways to improve a photo of a text message by increasing contrast between print and background. I was able to get a better picture by shining a table light from above. and feel convinced my problem is only not know how to adjust lighting etc. I did disable flash. As I dont need accuracy of colour is there a way to improve my images attached

I cant attach the pictures as it thinks it has them already. You can see my pictures on

Hi Mohini.
I presume you are trying to make these text messages readable.
It seems to me that bad focus is your problem. Is that right? Is there no way of retaking the pictures with better focus?

Sorry to say, but I don't think there's any way in which those pictures can be recovered. The details simply isn't there.

Assuming you don't have a very sophisticated camera, you can still take two shots. 1) your overall image, then 2) move in close to get the text, however close and remain in focus.
Then in PS merge the images i.e. with mask.

As Steve says, you cannot recover what is not there. Its a fundamental of information theory and physics e.g. Shannon's equation.
