Blending two pictures
I Need some advice. I can't seem to get this monkey to look like part of this picture. I have tried blurring, desaturating, adding noise, dust and scratches, curves and even motion blur but nothing seems to work. Please any advice would be great. thanks in advance. ![]() |

Re: Blending two pictures
Well, there are three problems. The first is that the monkey's a different colour to everything else: the man, the background, all have a strong red cast. This is easily fixed using Color Balance, Curves, or whatever. The second issue is that the darkest point in the background is set by the man's hair and moustache, and the image is such low contrast that it's really not that dark. So we need to use Curves or Levels to limit the amount of black in the monkey. Finally, you need to stick the monkey in his mouth. He'll never draw enough to get it lit like that! ![]() |
