Images to play with...
If anyone is interested, I have several photos of museum mounts that are in desperate need of Photoshop reanimation. Please feel free to download them and modify at will: http://www.whitecrocodile.com/photoshop.htm Click on the thumbnails to view/download the larger version. The leopard is my initial attempt at trying to create a realistic background. Among other things the lighting is wrong, the leopard's tail is too straight (no straight lines in nature), the gazelle has no wounds, etc... John |

Thanks for sharing your images, John. I'm not sure about the premise that there are no straight lines in nature - personally I thinks it's more a rule of thumb rather than something that's an absolute - take rock formations where sedimentary layers have been built up sometime they can be a straight as any man-made ruler.
