Automated Reflection Remover?
Is there a "Photoshop fix" for removing/reducing the quantity and/or intensity of sunlight reflections in a photo like the one below? Thanks! - John |

No automatic fix, I'm afraid. What I'd do here is create a new layer set to Darken mode, then use the brush tool to sample light(ish) areas of colour from the background and use these to paint over the highlights. By using this mode, you remove the highlights without affecting areas that are already darker than the sampled shade: ![]() |

Another method is to use Select Color Range. Click one of the reflection bright spots and adjust the fuzziness accordingly. Then Increase the selection by 1 pixel, feather by 1 pixel. You can then use the Clone Stamp or Healing Brush and it'll only affect the selected areas. ![]() _________________ Leap, and the net will appear |
