Animated GIF Quality
I have two gifs, one animated the other static. When I combine the two gifs everything looks good in the frame and animation windows of Image Ready CS2. However, once the images is saved and viewed via a web browser the colors are off and the image has small black dots all over it. It looks as if the finished image is suffering from a reduction of color? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Animated GIF Quality
Usually GIF saves the colour table info specific for each images - sounds to me as if the colour tables for each GIF clash and therefore the combined colour table is truncated and therefore your colours are off. When you go to Save to Web ensure that on the Preview Menu fly-out button (the triangle button to the top right of the display window) that it is set to "Uncompensated Color" if things look bad go back to the document and increase the colour table for the combined GIF (for example if you have it set to 64 colours try increasing it to 256)

Maiden, Thank you for the suggestions. Increasing the color table corrected the problem.
