David, Some really fantastic work there - your attention to texture and detail is astonishing. That snake must have taken weeks to do, and Newton's PowerBook blends in perfectly (great texture fitting!). Loved the Michael Jackson cover, and the Anchor is beautiful. Don't think I'll buy a used car from you, though... All the best Steve |

Thanks Steve! I take that as rather an accolade. ![]() Oddly enough, the snake took around 3 hours, the Spade Pizza was the longest slog so far, at around 9 hours. The texture on the Powerbook was created using the Grain tutorial in the book, which I have used in quite a few images. |

Enjoyed checking out your portfolio. Some great creativity. Along with the ones Steve mentioned, I also liked the dancer image. The horse and girl image reminds me of one of the first montages I ever did. Here's a link if you want to take a look http://petersencomputing.com/carl/paintshop_pro_projects.htm Nice Job, Carl |

Nice image! But to increase the realism you need to lower the saturation on the boy, and take a lot of the red out - then he'll look like he belongs in the scene. Steve |

Your right on those recommendations Steve. It was done about 4 years ago and was one of the earliest montages I ever did. What I remember most about it, was the time it took me to add his hand which was taken from a 3 rd image. Carl |
