Orange Apple
I know this has been done before in a different variation on the same them, but I though I would have a go at creating an apple orange or orange apple. ![]() _________________ Paranoia is reality on a finer scale. |

Re: Orange Apple
Nice montage - I like the subtlety of the effect. My only concern is that perhaps the apple skin blends a little too smoothly into the orange: shouldn't we be able to see a slight edge, a thickness to the skin there? Just a thought. |

I agree with Steve's comments and also add one of my own: The seeds of an orange are in the middle, whereas they appear to be close to the top in this image. It could also benefit from a little blur to soften it in line with the rest of the image. _________________ A happy-go-lucky chap, always dressed in black |

Re: Orange Apple
Comments taken on board, I think putting together this type of image is a lot easier if you take the pictures yourself of the items to be used. I had to rely on whay google found for me, ideally I would like to have had a picture of an apple cut in 1/2 (I suppose I could have created it too). Part of my issue is that it does look like the cut should be a lot lower down the apple, there is too much pith and the segments too big for a cut that high up. Oh well we live and learn. I like the Tomapple! _________________ Paranoia is reality on a finer scale. |

Re: Orange Apple
Nice job, Cuban Pete! It looks very real. I do wildlife art, and that kind of realism is a pain to recreate believably. |
