College project
I just thought that I would post my finished project, I am quite proud of it as it is my first assignment for my A Level in graphic design. I had to look up the history of posters all the way back to when they were a page with block print on a tree. I produced the whole thing in photoshop, the old soldier is my fathers dad from teh 1940's and with robbies face I thought he would be a great fit for the main artist in this make beleive concert. Love to hear your views people...

Thats Brilliant Judders!
I like the effect the light has on the poster, without it it would be very plain.
Hope you get an A!

Re: College project
Thanks Lexus, I would love it if I got an A but not holding my breath. I have added a little extra to it as something started to eat away at me. It felt a little empty and I couldn't help myself. Glad I didnt hand it in this week!!!

Re: College project
Hi all

I new to all this, have been playing with photoshop for about 4-5 weeks now but already addicted.

Steve love the book, no one wants to spend yonks learning the long way to do things and this book gets you straight into the swing of things. Brilliant.

Judders I think thats a great effort, has a real nice period feel about it. Although a mere novice may I make a suggestion? I feel the lighting may be more effective if light from the opposite direction, sort giving an effect of war search light although this would mean you would probably need to swap the figures around to maintain the correct point of focus! Just a suggestion.
