Vintage photos again
I was at the Beamish museum at the weekend and got a photo of a man ploughing a field with horses. I though it might be interesting to see how it looked in sepia. I'd had a go with this sort of thing before, but I think this photo lends it self more to this sort of manipulation. I have posted this on another forum and a couple of people were convinced I'd scanned in an old photo. I'm quite pleased with the results. Here is the original ![]() And the old version. ![]() |

Really like the results, the blur around the outer radius [?] (the part not the center ![]() _________________ Drawing attention to what otherwise might be overlooked... emphasizing things that matter. |

wow! really. excellant. i would say the same thing that you said other peps said, that it looks like you scanned an old photo... ...but realize i am saying that as a compliment! (not that they weren't either) p.s. there is a section here for tut's and oldenizing pics can be an elusive beast. seeing how others attack a problem is very useful. either way...bravo! |
