A Snowy Summer's day!
Over the last three months or so, I’ve been doing quite a bit of air to air photography for a book project.

This particular aircraft (Piper Cherokee) was shot over the owner’s house (honestly, it really is his house!) He liked the shot so much that he has decided to use it for this year’s Christmas Card. So what should we have at Christmas (well we in the northern parts anyway)? …………..SNOW!

So I was asked if I could convert early September with a temperature of around 70 degrees to a cold, frosty, snowy winter’s day. Here is the before shot.

Really well done Gordon. Not having seen a great deal of snow in my life - it looks pretty convincing to me.

I particularly like the way the snow appears on the trees. I take it the cars have been snowed under? LOL

Thanks for the comments.
The client also wanted the cars removed. Amazingly that took longer than adding the snow.

That is a great effect Gordon. I've looked at it and realised I have no idea how to achieve that snow effect.

Thanks to all. Sounds like I might have to do a little tutorial. It's actually amazingly easy to do. I'll try to post tomorrow.
