Colourisation
Have just been working on the colourising of this black and white image. The original 6x6 negative was pulled out of my archives while I was looking for another photograph and I figured that it would be a good candidate for colourising. It was shot at Manchester Airport in 1973.

This turned into this below

Re: Colourisation
This is great - a lot of attention to detail there. I have a problem with the amount of glow around the red lights, though - I feel this is too strong, and really wonder whether there should be any glow there at all, other than in the immediate vicinity. Also, when filling a large area such as the runway, a single colour tends to look rather flat: try adding a few other shades there more or less at random, to add interest.
