The Trial
Hi everyone This is a poster for my stepson's college's production of Kafka's The Trial - the story of a man trapped in a system with no hope of escape. Haven't started work on the type, yet, but what do you think of the image. Chris ![]() |

Re: The Trial
Hello Chris A very strong image but I find the perspective on the striped floor in the frames/doorways very distracting and also the darkness of the 2nd frame from the left, which is very dark took my eye straight to it and then all I could see was a number 7 (cut out from the frame behind)! When are you going to start getting paid for all your great posters? |

Re: The Trial
Hi Deborah I might flatten the tones on the floor and the frames, and you're right about the dark mirror. Missed that one! I've also missed part of a frame on the right-hand side. I was going a bit blind with this one which is why I posted before it's finished. I need to change the colour balance on the guy (me!) to match up with the overall grey tones. Thanks for taking the time to look at it. Where is the number 7? As for getting paid, it looks like the love of doing it will just have to be enough!! Chris |

Re: The Trial
Another really great concept, Chris. I think I see what Deborah means about the 7 (or is it a 1?). It just needs a few tweaks to the contrast and a slight adjustment to the perspective on the tops of the frames and it's there. Nice work. ![]() _________________ It must be Thursday, I never could get the hang of Thursdays |
