Pretty cool Chris. I did notice his right arm is closer to him than the left. Maybe the reflections on the right could um... reflect that? Not sure if it matters but it just caught my eye. I still love it. You are far more creative than I.

Re: The Trial - Type poster
Looking great, Chris. I would be tempted to bring the margins in on the text at the top to align it with the bottom.

Good spot, Hawkeye!
Don't know how that slipped through the net.

Re: The Trial - Type poster
I've got a type problem with this one.
I've just remembered I need to stick a "cberry.co.uk/posters" line on the poster. Anyone have an idea of where to place it?

Well you seem to be doing a good impersonation of one, in that case.

I still have a problem with the left foremost mirror. The top-right corner could still do with being moved to the left a little and possibly down.

As for your branding, that's tricky. Perhaps make the College text a little smaller so you can have it at the bottom of the page?

Something like this. The green being the original frame. I've also added some (poor) shading to define the depth of the frame which adds to the effect.

Re: The Trial - Type poster
Hi Dave
It definitely makes a difference, doesn't it.
I had thought about shading, and now I've seen it I'm going to have to flaming do it!!

I'll post the result some time over the weekend.

Thanks for spending time on it.

Steve - I might leave the right mirror as it is to avoid things looking too symmetrical, do you think?

Sorry Chris, didn't mean to make more work for you.

How's the website going?

Re: The Trial - Type poster
Sorry Dave
I posted the link on another thread.
I may have designed the look of it, but I wimped out on the technicalities in the end and got a friend of mine to fine tune it. I'm getting some free training this summer so I can get to grips with it. Building the site was like using a phrase book in html, when really, I need to learn the whole language.
The url is http://cberry.co.uk/posters

As always, feel free to comment on stuff you do and don't like. I'll post the new version of the Trial poster with adjusted mirrors over the weekend, hopefully - unless the paid work gets in the way, which it seems to be at the moment!

Hi Dave
Well spotted - shading has made all the difference.
Can you let me know what you think - and does this type work.
