WIP : CAFR Cover
This is for an annual Finance Book the theme is Redevelopement and the Library Garden Park is one of the newer attractions to the City. Was wondering if you guys think this looks good for my first proposal and also if you have any suggestions for additions or changes to the design. The quality is low because of the attachment, but shouldn't take away from the CnC. Thank you.

Last years was easier to come up with a solid idea it being or 50th Anniversary. Any ideas as to what I can do to spice up the first one? |

Here is the updated version changed the blue to last years which seems more prominent to me and added other new redevelopments around the city. |

I prefer your second attempt a lot more. Especially the Dark Blue background wth the additional photos and gold highlights. It's only a minor thing, but the Font used for "CAFR" makes the R look lopsided, as the end of the final downstroke kicks up, and doesn't match the serif's on the other letters, where they all curve downwards. I realise that it is an optical illusion, but it keeps drawing my eye back to it. This effect is also repeated underneath on the Gold Bar with Black Text. Perhaps a very similar font without the kick-up on the R would work better? BB |

Okay changed the fonts to a more classier serif I think it blends well with the background the light poles and such. CnC is more than welcome.  |
