Great layout. I'm not sure about the angle of the fret-board, it makes the bus seem a little two-dimensional and shouldn't the body of the guitar be the other way round? _________________ If you hold on to the past, sooner or later you'll lose your grip. |

Re: and another new poster
Hi Chris The concept is excellent, but I agree with David. Also:- The fret board seems to be on a different plane to the guitar body and I'd be inclined to lose the clouds as they give the impression that some liquid has been spilt on the instrument. This is minor, but the bus and fret board are not central in relation to the guitar body, you can see more of the sound hole on the right hand side. If the bus is taking people on holiday, then you may wish to show the back of the bus heading towards the sun. Finally, I'm not sure that the colour balance of the fret board matches with the main body of the instrument. Perhaps a little more red / yellow needed? Please accept my apologies if I'm being too harsh. Nick |

Re: and another new poster
Hi Dave and Nick First of all, Nick, no such thing as being too harsh, that's why I post, so thanks for taking the time to analyse the poster. It's really appreciated. I know the perspective of the bus doesn't match, but this is on purpose as it gives it a cartoon-perspective feel. Will re-look at the fret and the body - these are from two different guitars. Will also look at the colour balance - well spotted. The guitar is the right way round but the forced perspective have distorted it - you're not the first to comment on this! Finally - I want folk to see the destinations. Don't know why - just do! Thanks again for being so generous with your time. Cheers Chris |

Chris, Just a thought..u mention you want to give a cartoon like perspective... How about doing something like Steve has in his book with the red double decker bus. Were he distorts with Image Warp, Page 352 - Cartoon Distortions. The poster has a happy feel about it. ![]() Anna |
