A few recent montages... (Update: My new draft of God image)
Not done much for a while, but I am doing photomontage and surrealism for a unit in my A Level Photography... Thought i'd show a few things I have made for my development work, to see what people think

Some of the photographs are mine, but on some i have used a few royalty free images from here and there..

My final piece will be all my own work, and will post that on here when im done

Thanks

and a simple one:

Some really nice work here, well done! I love the one with the hand reaching down, gives me the creeps.. very effective! I don't think I want a pair of those iPod earphones though.
Good job.

Some great images there, Alex. I particularly like the last one - simple, but very effective. And the pool table is great - but you need to get rid of the nearest row of floats.

Re: A few recent montages...
Thankyou Steve.

The floats were something I did think about, but these are only development pieces of work so I had to really just knock them out quickly to fill up a sketchbook. The thing that I was more worried about was the floating ring, i dont feel it has blended in very well and looks fake.

I am going to remake the hand reaching down image to a better quality so it can be put up on the wall at school.

Hi Lexus

I like all the images and admire your creativity. If you are going to remake the hand, could I suggest that it is given added dimension by applying shading to the palm, similar to the arm, as this would be facing away from the light and therefore appear darker than the upper fingers. (unless the building has a white roof casting reflected light, of course). Also consider applying a slight amount of blur to both hand and sky to add depth.

Nick

I really the eyes in the first one. The 2nd one reminds me of one of my fave tv shows, Land of the Giants. Really good Alex

Remade the god hands image, much larger resolution for printing at school, cant help but think its missing something though.

here is a trimmed lower quality draft:

Some interesting ideas there.

The woman in the pool table looks a little small to me compared to the water.

Some great images Lexus.
If it isn't too corny, what about some shafts of sunlight through the clouds on your final image? and maybe losing the flourescent light, which is a bit distracting?
