Re: squirrel season
Hey, red squirrel! They're pretty much extinct here in the UK, all beaten off by the grey ones. Excellent!

That is stunning! Thanks so much for sharing that picture, it's really lovely. I must show that to my Mam. How far away were you when you snapped that? Looks so close! Excellent pic.

Re: squirrel season
Plenty of red ones in Denmark. this little one kept coming for a feed at the bird feeder outside my sisters kitchen window.

Re: squirrel season
Ooooh these are all great! Look at the colour, that's fab. I'm so pleased.

I've never seen a squirrel actually. Not up close and personal anyway. But you know what, this is almost as good, because I can view them here without fear of getting pelted by sharp edged nuts for disturbing their feeding.

Come to think of it, with 6 cats one doesn't get an awful lot of wildlife around the place where I live, it's not very safe. Although karma is a bitch - next door's dog makes a kamikaze run in through a hole in the ditch every few days and sends them all scarpering for safety up the nearest tree, so I guess it balances out.
