Re: Can you identify the bird?
Hmmm, two questions: which state do you live in? and did the bird actually land on your wife's shoulder? ![]() |

Re: Can you identify the bird?
Hi Marty, I can't identify the bird myself but a friend who works for Birdlife International is checking it out for you. He reckons it is probably an escaped cage bird. I'll get back to you. Gordon _________________ Maturity is knowing when and where to be immature |

Re: Can you identify the bird?
actually I took the picture of the bird in the butterfly house at the zoo and decided to "enhance" the picture of my wife. |

Re: Can you identify the bird?
It looks as if you going to have to ask them at the zoo what it is. Interestingly, during my fruitless search of Birds of Michigan, I came across this interesting pic (No, not me this time!) ![]() ![]() |

Re: Can you identify the bird?
So let me get this straight: you did a search for "birds of Michigan" and ended up with a bodybuilding squirrel. Er.... which search engine do you use??? |

Re: Can you identify the bird?
Hi Marty, Just had an e mail from my contact at Birds International...........he has no idea what it is either! He took an educated guess and reckons it is probably an escaped cage bird and may be from the Australasia area. My own birding talents are pretty limited, being confined to photographing the little devils and then asking my wife what I have just photographed! Sorry I can't help.
