Pushing it to the limits:
The first image (in the mountains north of Abergavenny) is the unedited pic; the second is the first edited pic; and the third has a new sky added. All three images have been substantially reduced to 1024 x 768 size. Have I got away with it or am I pushing my luck?

I think it works well. I might have left the conifers in the background a little darker, but I like the way you've pulled out the detail on the wall and the nearer trees and verge. |

The clouds looks too big to me. Could be just a perspective thing. |

I like the detail in the wall and verge but agree with Paul that the clouds look too big. |

A big thank-you to Kate--yes, you're right the trees are a little light!
Well-spotted Paul: the sky was "stretched" to fit the scene!
Yes, Marty it kinda looks better a bit darker!

Mi Michael, my only point would be that the tops of the trees are a little to light. I selected the top and darkened them a little.  _________________ Perfect confidence is granted to the less talented as a consolation prize. |
