Ryan's work
I've recently been back in touch with Ryan Forshaw, who used to be a regular visitor to this forum some years ago. He produces magical, beautiful Photoshop work - take a look for yourselves:

Now there's a rather extraordinary story to be told here, but I'd rather you took a look at his portfolio without preconceptions. I'll reveal all in a few days, when you've had a chance to check it out.

There's some fantastic work there. He makes very good use of light and blending techniques.

Yes, I remember seeing Ryan's work in Digital Photo magazine some time ago and was very impressed at the time. A great talent.

Re: Ryan's work
It sure is a beautiful talent that Ryan has. I wish I could produce images which are a fraction as interesting and fantastically rendered as he can. Thanks for the link. Vern

Re: Ryan's work
Ryan's work is beautiful, isn't it.

Now here's the truly extraordinary thing: following a fall as a teenager, Ryan is completely paralyzed from the shoulders down. He accomplishes all his Photoshop work using a breath-controlled PC.

You can read all about him here:

Astonishing, and indeed inspirational!

Re: Ryan's work
It's astounding what his skill and determination has achieved. It will make me reappraise my lack of finesse and dexterity with my stylus and graphics tablet and work all the harder to get what is in my head onto the screen.

Amazing story. Triumph over adversity. I wish this kind of thing hit newspaper headlines sometimes!
