New poster
Hi everyone
Apologies for not being on for a while.
Here is the new poster for our next production - I posted a rough version a few months back. This is the finished piece.
All comments - complimentary and critical - welcome.

Re: New poster
Alway excellent, Chris

Very nice poster especially like the woman's eyes which you have brought out wonderfully and she looks a little mad reminds me of a female Hanibal Lector

Re: New poster
I like the poster but I don't like the tag-line.

She wasn't crazy. Strict and compassion less and maybe misguided, but not crazy.

Hey Chris, It's great!
Just one critic (i don't even know if I shoudl define it this way), or maybe is just a mistake (or maybe you did it in purpuse).

Hi Nick
Yes - the director wanted to show the relationship between all three. (That's me as McMurphy by the way)

Don't you think misguided is the beginning of crazy?

Hi Carlo
Thanks for the feedback. I distorted the grill on purpose. If you look at safety glass it sometimes has a fault like this in it. I think you get the eagle eye of the week award!!

Hi Chris
I guess it must be fun playing McMurphy, as he's such a great character. How did you manage the fishing trip scene on stage?

Nurse Ratched is also an extermely complex individual and you never really get to understand what makes her tick. She is very businesslike in her approach to the inmates and her ability to reason is displayed brilliantly in the film. It becomes even more interesting when the viewer learns that most of the characters are in there on a voluntarily basis.

In fairness to Nurse R, she does put McMurphy's wishes to the vote and it's clear that some of his frustration lies in the fact that the others just don't appreciate what he's looking for. Mac perceives this to be her fault and here lies the basis for his growing hatred. The nurse does display vindictiveness to the mild mannered Billy and that results in Mac going over the top.

Is she mad / crazy, I don't believe so, but there is certainly a darker side to he character. A fabulous film, which conjours all emotions.

You're right about the fault line in the safety glass - great observation and work.

Nick

Really? I've never notice that, good to know...
Anyways... My english is not really good so I thought about showing you what you should modify, otherwhis if you print it in a big scale everybody's going to notice this "little mistakes".
Hope i'm helping and not bothering you.

Thanks Nick.
After doing the play, I think she's borderline psychotic!

Great Poster Chris, I would be interested to know how long this took you to complete. I have this compulsion about hours and billing hours for all sorts of different creative work (I work as a business consultant amongst other things - I know sad isn't it?).

I assume your avatar is a pic of you, or is it the REAL Jack Nicholson? If it is you then you were the obvious choice for the role.

Nurse Ratchet was one crazy lady, I'm sure she would spend all her spare tie trying to think up ways of grinding those guys down even further.

Regards
