New to forum, my avatar
Bonsoir, here's the avatar I use on most sites where enabled. I hope I get it right and its in the right forum category.

Sorry, this has ended up as a new topic, not in the avatars. How can I delete the topic?

No problem - it's OK to have a new topic to introduce yourself.

Welcome to the forum.

Re: New to forum, my avatar
Thanks for your responses guys, glad I have not disrupted the forum too much.
I'll continue to introduce myself a little then.
Recently I bought a used copy of 'how to cheat' its for CS2 I have CS3 which doesn't matter because its still alot to take in.
In general I use photoshop for 'embellishing' photos for my blog which are of my hand made greetings cards and in certain design aspects of my partners 2 websites which I designed and run.
I bought the book because I felt the need to take my knowledge further and that there was so much in PS that I was missing out on and sure I was doing things the long winded way.
I've followed a few online tutorials but found it easier to have a hard paper tutorial next to me, hence the purchase.
Very pleased with what I've followed in the book so far, even though it seems hard going at the moment. So a big thanks to Steve for writing the book in such an easy to follow manner.

The book is just the beginning. Make full use of this forum, to ask questions and to solve problems - and, of course, to take part in the Friday Challenge, which is a great way to learn new techniques.
