Continuing my Korean War theme. The first sightings of the MiG 15 in Korea was over the Yalu River in early November 1950. Until then the UN held air superiority with their Lockheed P-80s and Gloster Meteors, the Korean Air force being very ineffective. This situation changed literally overnight with the arrival on the scene of MiG 15s flown by the Chinese Air force and also Soviet pilots. They were some 200 mph faster than anything that the UN had in theatre until the arrival of the F-86 Sabre. These two aircraft are in the marks of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force. Cinema 4D, BodyPaint, Poser and about half my life in Photoshop!
