Hi Emil

Personally, I like the second version for its simplicity. The music and keyboard in the first make it rather busy and the bottom left area (his suit) lends itself perfectly to text.

The question is what do you include? From the information, I'd guess that this is a play about Chopin, where music forms part of the production, rather than a concert? If so, my view would be to explain that somehow.

Unless the actors are well known, I would refer only to the main character and let the performance programme give the full information.

Where is Chris Berry when you need him? Chris produces beautiful posters for his local theatre, so have a look for his work on the forum.

Re: Poster
Hi Nick

many thanks for your comment. You absolutely right, the poster invites rather to a concert than to play. So I put there a photo from this play.

I also looked at Chris posters and their are beautiful.

Re: Poster
At the second version I feel something disturbing me. So I made them bigger.

Hello Emil, I really like your final version and love the way the head is incorporated into the dress.
The only thing now is the parasol handle looks a bit awkward.

Re: Poster
Many thanks Véronique and Deborah for your comment.

Deborah you right, the parasol is awkward. Thank you for that point, I did not see it. I will try to correct it.
